> This song eventually tells us that everyone will make mistakes at least once in their life time  and so we need to keep up with it and be patient they will end up saying sorry of they will end up being guilty for what they have done. At the end out job is to forgive. Everyone needs forgiveness.

BULLYING - STOP IT - CLAUDIA

Have you ever questioned yourself before: Am i a bully?
You might not realize it, but in life it is a natural habit of ours to start talking about others behind their backs, judging each other based on how we're all different, having someone to be laughed at just for your own entertainment. Have you ever thought of being in their position before? How would you feel if you knew that someone was talking behind your back? How would you feel about others judging you based on how you look? How would you feel if someone were to laugh at you all the time just because you were different? Do you still want to be the bully? Think again.

Attributes of God - Nadia

On the previous blog post, we stated that our group would be linking previous topics that connects with bullying and conflict, and today I'll be talking about one of those topics which is, as you guessed it from the title, the Attributes of God. 

Attributes of God. What is it? It is the characteristics that God has, and let me tell you one thing: God has a bunch of attributes that we should also try to obtain. Here are a list of attributes of God that we would want to focus on: 

1. Lovingkindness
• God's lovingkindness is more than ordinary, even more than extraordinary. There is no love and kindness like His. I know that humans aren't like God, but it isn't impossible to learn something from God's characteristic right? 
• The Scripture speaks of "the multitude of His lovingkindnesses" on Isaiah 63:7. In Psalm 17:7 we read of God's "marvelous loving-kindness". There are many books in the Bible that speaks of God's lovingkindness. 
• How do we apply this in our lives? Well do you know that showing love and kindness towards people would make you feel a lot happier? Seeing them smile from your actions or your words would give you a feeling of satisfaction. Rather than harming people with your words, speak of something nice, speak something lovely. Rather than hurting people with your actions, show your kindness towards people, help people. It isn't so hard. Just remember that you do not want to be treated the way you treat others. 
2. Goodness
• God's goodness is also irreplaceable and nowhere to be found in anyone's characteristics but it isn't wrong to learn from it. 
• God's goodness will last forever. God has goodness stored up for us. Everything from God is good. God is good. 
• Instead of making a horrible impact on people's lives, don't you want to make a positive impact? Make them remember you for your good deeds and not your bad ones. Be a good person. 
3. Mercy 
• God is known to be a God of mercy and grace. People usually would want something bad to happen to the person that has hurt them, but God on the other hand wouldn't do that. He would see everyone equally, loves everyone equally, and still show mercy to everyone even horrible sinners. Sometimes people don't deserve mercy, but God still gives us mercy because He loves us. 
• Instead of wishing horrible things to happen to that one person who has hurt you or even to an innocent person, start being more merciful. If someone accidentally dropped your bottle, or just a little matter, don't hold on a grudge just because of that. Don't hold grudges and start conflict. It's always better to let go and have mercy - it shows how strong you are to be able to let go and forgive. 
4. Patience 
• You can see God's patience from His love towards us. He would never give up on us. He would still keep on showing His love and kindness. Sometimes people would abuse His patience and would continue doing bad deeds and sinning because they would say "He will always forgive us anyway." but the Bible said something about that on Psalms 103:9-11. 
• Instead of being so bad tempered and trying to repay other for their bad deeds, be a better person and ignore the bad deeds that they did. Once you get to do that, you'll feel better about yourselves. 

Those are the four main attributes of God that students should be able to learn from and be a better individual.

Our Idea

This project has made us think of a way to at least try to change the students here in springfield,, to be better individuals. While we were discussing and trying to figure out a way, we decided to focus on a main problem that most of the students have and focus on that. And after putting a thought into it, we found out that the main problems are bullying and conflict. Lately bullying stories has gone viral. We've been hearing about how students are being treated and how they're suffering miserably just because of one person, just because of one bully or possibly a group of bullies.

Conflict and bullying are linked to each other. Bullying can start when a conflict occur, or it could be vice versa; a student was being bullied and a friend would want to defend the innocent friend but end up being in a conflict or a fight with the bully. 

Bullying brings negative impact to everyone - even the bully. The victim of the bully would be most affected because they would always feel like school is a prison full of people who can only hurt them with their actions and their words. Students would be highly affected by it as they would start getting paranoid in empty hallways, they would feel disconnected from everything that is happening around them and their appetite to eat might even be gone. Bullying can cause a great level of depression for the victim. 

Conflict and bullying are usually caused by human depravity - how broken humans are. Humans are broken because of a lot of factors. For instance, sometimes the problems they're facing. Sometimes the challenges and obstacles that they need to go overcome are often times very difficult and frustrating for one person to handle it. Sometimes human do not know how to fix their own wounds, let alone fixing other people's wounds. That all causes them to not be able to love themselves. That is why some of the students might choose to harm others because how are they supposed to love others, like what the Bible said, when they do not even love themselves? 

Those people who thinks that they have to live in this cruel world alone are wrong. God is here to help you fix your wounds. God is here to help you go through the storm. God is here to help you become a stronger soldier. God is here to love you, and to show you what love is. 

To conclude, our team's idea is to help students be better individuals and stop harming others by linking ideas from the previous topics that learned during our Worldview classes. 

Bullying - Calling Names? - Claudia

Ever been labelled with names that you do not like to be called with? Trust me you're not alone on this one. People around the world have been bullied before, everyone have at least been called by a name that we do not like to be called with, at least once. But what do we do? Some people just stay quite, some gets angry and a very few would actually stand up for themselves. The thing is dont let these labels define who you really are, its just what one person thinks of you, dont let it control you. Dont let it make you think that you are someone who you're not. The only one who knows yourself best is yourself. Therefore dont let others define you but define yourself.

Nadia Setyono

Nadia enjoys photography. She loves the camera, either her being in front of it or her being behind it. She loves worshiping and is passionate about it. Other than cameras, she is focused towards her studies at school. About school, the reason why she moved to SF is because her parents have decided that it was time for her to move from her previous school which is IICS. Over these past years Nadia have been doing a great job in being a good friend towards people. She is a good listener as well and she is loyal to her friends. Her friends did mention that Nadia comes in one package meaning that she almost have everything they always needed. Her weekends are not that dull, she spends time with her family and friends.

Victoria Christabel

Victoria is known as loud, athletic and very weird. In fact,  she earned an athletic medals in her old school. Victoria grew up in Jakarta and now she still in Jakarta. Before moving to Springfield, she studied  in SPH. She moved to Springfield because her old school was far and she decided to move to nearer school. In the past, she liked math and PE, but now she really passionate in biology because she loved to study about humans. She is a serious student when she likes the class that she's in, and the classes that essential for the future. Some people don't want to work with her because she gets easily angry to people and she is very impatient. Victoria is really good in giving advice to her friends that are having emotional problems and relationship problems. She is really passionate in singing worship songs because its really lift her up and when she's down, she just likes to hear spiritual songs. It is impossible for her to give up on the people that she loves, and also, she wants to be remembered as a loving, caring and friendly person. Her favorite way to spend her weekends is hanging out with friends, sitting down, talking and laughing.
